Our Shearwater at rest — Ridge, Maryland (August 2015) Sony RX100 IV 1.8-2.8/24-70mm
She’s special .. 😊
For us she certainly is. 🙂
We don’t get down to visit her as much as we’d like to these days, but when we do it’s always wonderful to do so.

This is a beauty, Mitch. Did you use a tripod? What inspired you to go with sepia toning?
Thank you, Frank.
Nope, no tripod — it’s just handheld (ƒ/1.8 @ 1/125, ISO 800). I rarely shoot anything on a tripod these days.
The original RAW file didn’t have a lot of color to it, so I messed with it until I had something that I liked.
Nothing so touching as the love of men for their boat!!! Only teasing , she has beautiful lines indeed.
Haha — I dunno; Cindy is very fond of Shearwater as well, especially when I can get her down there for a nice weekend! 😀
She’s a beauty, Mitch! Lovely photo too 🙂
A totally tonal triumph. No play on words intended either.
Ticking all boxes as usual! Superb photo.
