Florida sure has some gorgeous water, especially as you near the southern-most third of the state.
not in the treasure coast in the indian river lagoon
Close! This shot was taken on the grounds of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum, which is labeled on the maps as being the Loxahatchee River (https://firstname.lastname@example.org,-80.0839875,17.5z)

the water is pretty nice down there
Agreed. If the conditions hadn’t been so windy the entire length of our visit, I would have liked to have gone swimming, as the water was 86 degrees.
Oooo, that looks wonderful.
Yep, very nice!
Truth! Every year in February I get a giant craving for Florida, and so it’s become part of our annual vacation plans. It’s not just the heat I want: it’s the color. You’ve captured it beautifully here.
Hehe — you owe it to yourself to explore the glorious fountain pen inks that include Waterman Florida Blue: http://peninkcillin.blogspot.com/2014/05/waterman-florida-blue-ink-review.html
Every time I use some of them, I think of the gorgeous Florida waters… love the colors down there.
Hi! I would just like to say that this picture is absolutely stunning. I’ve gone through several of your pictures (which are all great) and this one really stood out. I’m not sure why this one stood out so much, other than it being beautiful. What changes as you get further south? Is it just more clear and blue? Thanks for sharing the great pictures!
