Wow — what a day it was yesterday! We went down to the marina to winterize the boat, and we were in our shirt sleeves due to the temperature reaching 75 degrees Fahrenheit (23.8 Celsius)! Don’t believe me? Take a look — the photo above was taken from the end of our dock yesterday.
Bright green grass growing (and freshly mown, I might add), gorgeous skies, and not a bit of hard water (ice) in sight. Except for the few years that I lived with my family in southern California during the late 1960s, I think this is the warmest Christmas season I’ve ever experienced in my entire lifetime.
It made me think of this little ditty by The Orb:
