There is just something majestic and overpowering about 19th century engineering! Perhaps it’s the scale or the mass of steel and iron, I don’t know, but I love it!
Agreed. I have a few mechanical items dating back to the 1950’s and I’m always amazed at the quality compared to the same items today.
