Groooooan… not only perceptive, but also a punster! 😀

All three Wyeth’s have been very inspirational to me over the years. N.C. for his dramatic illustrations and paintings that I grew up with in old adventure novels (the Bounty Trilogy being the first of them), Andrew for his realist egg tempera paintings with their restrained color palettes, and — to a lesser extent — Jamie Wyeth for his contemporary take on the same type of work as his father and grandfather.

Have to admit I enjoy a good pun, Mitch. The Wyeths were quite a talented family, that’s for sure and some of the old novels and “children’s” stories have amazing pictures from various famous artists.
