Now this is EXCELLENT car camping.  I don’t know specifically where the location of this campground might be found (somewhat close to L’Anse aux Meadows is all I can remember), but it was indicative of all the campgrounds we encountered during our stay in Newfoundland some 24 years ago — super clean, empty (we were usually the only ones there), and very nice.  The campgrounds we stayed at usually had one caretaker on duty, HEATED bathrooms (WOW!!!), low entry fees, and wonderful camping sites.

In the early days of our marriage, we went camping over the weekend two-to-three times per month.  My back can no longer handle, that so our forays into the wild are a lot more curtailed these days.
