Adieu 2016.  We hardly knew ye…

Here — in no special order — are the very best images I shared with you during the past twelve months.  They include digital and film photographs, both color and monochrome — from rangefinder film cameras, various film and digital point-and-shoots, and iPhones (the specifics are in the captions of each image).

For those that are interested in how my photography has progressed over the past several years, my best images from 2015 can be found here, 2014 can be found here and those from 2013 can be found here.

I was pleased that I remembered so many of your photos. That was a lovely collection. How on earth did you winnow it down to just those?????

When we lived near John’s family, we looked at slide shows of the present year’s photos to while away the time between the church service and midnight on New Year’s Eve. We’d go back in increments of 10 years, too. The children always enjoyed seeing themselves grow up on the screen. It was quite a job to pick out the images to show.

Gorgeous collection! You “last vestiges of winter” in the Wy. is my favorite. WOW, that image is gorgeous. I also love that abandoned little, shaggy cabin in the snow, the Capitol building…what amazing light on that image!

You got to travel to some beautiful places, and your images are beautiful keepsakes.

All the best of a wonderful 2017!
